Claire Lomas wept tears of joy as she crossed the finish line of the 26.2 mile course – eight days after setting off. Injured in a freak riding accident in 2007, tackled the marathon step-by-step with the help of a ‘robotic suit’. Finishing today she smashed the 17 day record she set walking the London Marathon in 2011.
