Carla Powell is Italian by birth but has spent much of her life in Britain. She studied at the Chelsea College of Art & Design and later at the Vander Keelen Studio in Brussels specialising in faux marble and trompe l\u2019oeil painting. She worked as a consultant for a British energy firm in Brussels and later as an international consultant for Hambros Bank in London. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Thomas Goode, the renowned fine porcelain business.<\/p>\n
