The BBC recently shared a powerful tribute to Claire Lomas MBE – a woman whose courage, determination, and fundraising efforts have inspired thousands across the UK and beyond.<\/p>\n

Claire\u2019s story is one of extraordinary resilience. After a riding accident in 2007 left her paralysed, she refused to let that define her future. From completing the London Marathon in a robotic suit to lighting the Paralympic flame and raising nearly \u00a31 million for spinal injury research, Claire became a beacon of hope and possibility.<\/p>\n

Her close friend, Pid, and her husband, Dan, are now taking on the final leg of Claire\u2019s fundraising journey, aiming to push the total past the \u00a31 million mark through a series of wheelchair challenges. Their efforts are a testament to the love and admiration Claire inspired in everyone around her.<\/p>\n

As of today, the fundraising total stands at \u00a338,184<\/strong>, meaning we are 80% of the way there to reaching the \u00a31 million fundraising target.<\/p>\n
