On January 28th 2022, after months of dedication, training and time in the air, champion fundraiser Claire Lomas, passed her final exam to become a pilot. Claire has now officially obtained her pilot\u2019s license!<\/p>\n

On completion of the exam Claire said: \u201cI can\u2019t walk but I can fly!! When doors close find others to open. Today I PASSED that final exam – General skills Test \ud83d\ude01 I\u2019m now a pilot! Thanks to all who helped me. \ud83e\udd70\u201d<\/p>\n

Claire is unstoppable, redefining what it means to live with paralysis and proving you can achieve anything you set your mind to.<\/p>\n

To date, Claire has raised over \u00a3825,000 for spinal injury research and shows no sign of stopping!<\/p>\n

Here at nsif we are always astounded at the enthusiasm and energy that Claire and her family put into fundraising, and are incredibly grateful for all that they do.<\/p>\n

Claire has penned her story, the challenges she has faced and valuable lessons learned in her new book, \u2018The Bigger Picture\u2019, which will be released on Tuesday 8th March 2022. The book also delves into her life behind closed doors as well as her numerous accomplishments.<\/p>\n
